Adult Developmental Services
The Florida Baptist Children's Homes provides care for adults with developmental disabilities. The residential care is provided at the Children's Homes campus in Lakeland, and the facility is known as the "Sonshine Residence." The residence can accomodate up to seven women for what is typically long-term care. The residence also has separate living quarters for the house parents.
We also have a new home for developmentally delayed adults planned for the Fort Myers campus.
